NightSide - Senator Cruz Refuses To Endorse Trump

BOSTON (CBS) - Senator Ted Cruz, who became Donald Trump's biggest rival in the second half of the primary season, spoke last night at the Republican National Convention. But instead of endorsing Donald Trump, Cruz used his time to call on voters to "vote their conscience". The crowd booed loudly once it became apparent Cruz would not be endorsing the official nominee, and eventually Donald Trump walked out onto the stage while Cruz was still speaking. Trump's campaign later said they knew Cruz wasn't planning to endorse, but let him take the stage anyway. Are you surprised Senator Cruz took the approach he did?
