Viral Photo Shows Pokemon Go Bringing Police, Young People Together

FALL RIVER (CBS) – Nothing brings people together like trying to catch 'em all.

Pokemon Go, in which players use their smartphones to go out and try to catch digital monsters in the real world, is the hottest app on the market.

And in Fall River, it looks like the game is proving to be a unique way for police to get involved with young people in the community. The department posted a few photos to Twitter Sunday of a police officer and some youths with their phones out, looking for Pokemon.

One of the pictures had been retweeted more than 1,000 times in under 24 hours.
