Man Drives Off Overpass, Crashes Into Car On Soldiers Field Road

BRIGHTON (CBS) -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a car flew off an overpass in Brighton and landed onto oncoming cars on Soldiers Field Road Saturday afternoon.

Police say a 33-year-old Watertown man was speeding on Birmingham Parkway and failed to negotiate the turn at the McHugh Overpass. He drove through the fencing and guardrail and crashed into a pickup truck that was traveling west bound on Soldiers Field Road.

The dislodged fencing and guardrail landed on another vehicle that was headed east bound on Soldiers Field Road.
