Report: Celtics Still Believe They're Alive In Kevin Durant Sweepstakes
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Kevin Durant announcement is mere hours (or minutes?) away, and the Boston Celtics feel like they still have as good a chance as anyone.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Durant did in fact meet one last time with the Oklahoma City Thunder before wrapping up his meetings, but the Celtics still feel like they're in the running.
Durant's decision is expected to come Monday via The Players' Tribune. He has already reportedly told the Clippers that he won't be joining them, which leaves the Thunder, Celtics, Warriors, Spurs and Heat on his potential list.
The Thunder remain the favorites, but the Celtics apparently have reason for some confidence.
UPDATE: Kevin Durant has chosen the Golden State Warriors.
