Fire Engine Delivers Wedding Flowers After Florist Van Crashes

MEREDITH, N.H. (CBS) -- A New Hampshire wedding party has first responders to thank for their timely flower delivery.

The wedding's florist van crashed on Route 25 in Meredith on Saturday as it was on its way to the weeding. No one was hurt but the van was totaled.

Despite the terrible crash, only one vase was broken in the accident, Emily Herzig Floral Studio posted on the company's Facebook page.

With the help of the florist assistant, police officers and firefighters loaded up the flowers in a fire engine and transported the order to the wedding site.

The studio credited the first responders' "incredible kindness and heroic help and handwork" for a wedding saved.
