J.B. Smoove Reveals Never-Aired SNL Skit Written For Tom Brady

BOSTON (CBS) -- J.B. Smoove is becoming a bit of a regular on the Toucher & Rich program. A little more than a week after sharing his excitement over the return of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Smoove was back on with T&R, and this time he was in studio.

The comedian/actor was in town for his show at the Wilbur, and he stopped in to cover a number of topics, including his pitch to become the next James Bond.

"I should be the new James Bond," he said. "I'll shoot somebody in they ass, you know what I mean?"

After a very, very detailed explanation of exactly how he would shoot villains in their posteriors, Smoove was asked about his time as a writer for "Saturday Night Live." Specifically he was asked for his impressions on Tom Brady when the Patriots quarterback was hosting the show in 2005.

"He was great. Handsome guy. Tall guy. Very personable," Smoove said of Brady. "Very nice guy. I actually ran into him [at Media Day for Super Bowl XLIX], I got a chance to ask him a good question. He remembered me. He said, 'Hey, what's up, J.B.?' ... That's how I get down."

Smoove then discussed a sketch he wrote for SNL intended for Brady that never made it to air.

"It was a sketch about a football player based in the '30s or '40s," he explained. "So this guy was the first guy to smack another man on the ass after a good play. And nobody in the '30s or '40s understood why another man was smacking them on the ass after a good play. So he became like, this player who was traded to every team in the league because nobody understood why he kept smacking people on their ass after a touchdown, after a catch, after a fumble. He got carried away with it, so they traded his ass. It went too far when he started doing it in the shower."

Smoove still wishes it aired.

"I love that damn sketch, man," he lamented. "It never made it, but it's a classic though."
