Patriots Announce Dates, Times Of 2016 Training Camp Opening Week At Gillette Stadium

BOSTON (CBS) -- Football season is coming, and it'll officially be underway in just about a month.

Not the games, of course, as we're still a ways away from the season kicking off. But on Thursday, the Patriots announced the dates and times of practice sessions for the opening week of training camp, as well as the date and time of the Patriots Hall of Fame induction for Kevin Faulk.

The practice sessions take place on the practice fields behind the stadium and they are open to the public at no cost. Fans are also welcome to attend the Patriots Fan Zone Training camp on site at Gillette.

The dates and times are below:

WEDNESDAY, JULY 27

Veteran players report to camp

THURSDAY, JULY 28

9:15 a.m.–11:45 a.m.: Morning Practice
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Patriots Fan Zone

FRIDAY, JULY 29

9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: Morning Practice
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fan Zone

SATURDAY, JULY 30

9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: Morning Practice
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fan Zone

SUNDAY, JULY 31

9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: Morning Practice
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fan Zone

MONDAY,AUGUST 1

5 p.m.: 2016 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for Kevin Faulk outside The Hall at Patriot Place
7 p.m.: In-stadium ticketed practice for Patriots season ticket members and Foxborough residents.

Some practice sessions do get changed due to weather and other scenarios, so check Patriots.com/TrainingCamp before heading to the stadium.

The Patriots also announced these key offseason dates:

Aug. 9-10: Joint practice sessions with the New Orleans Saints
Aug. 11: Patriots host the New Orleans Saints in the 2016 preseason opener at 7:30 p.m.
Aug 15-16: Joint practice sessions with the Chicago Bears
Aug. 18: Patriots host the Chicago Bears at 8:00 p.m.
