Second Top Administrator Resigns At Boston Latin School

BOSTON (CBS) – One day after the headmaster of Boston Latin School resigned, another top administrator has announced he is leaving.

On Wednesday, Superintendent Tommy Chang accepted the resignation of Malcolm Flynn, the assistant headmaster of the school. Flynn worked at BLS for more than 50 years.

The move comes just one day after Headmaster Lynne Mooney Teta announced her resignation.

The school has been the subject of an investigation over the handling of reported racial tensions among students.

According to The Boston Globe, Flynn submitted a three-page resignation letter to the School Department in which he outlined his "utter disappointment" in Chang for not telling the truth about the school.

The school district confirmed they received Flynn's resignation, but would not comment.
