Man Carves Tribute To Boston Sports Championships Using Chainsaw

BOSTON (CBS) – A Massachusetts man used his chainsaw to pay tribute to the recent dominance of New England sports teams.

Jesse Green, whose nickname is "The Machine," shared photos of what he coined the "World Championship Tree."

Green's sculpture began with the bases of four trees.

He then formed them using his chainsaw so the finished product looks like fingers wearing championship rings from the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins title wins.

Thanks to his creative saw skills, Green has a show on National Geographic Channel called American Chainsaw.

The Massachusetts native, who studied fine arts at UMass-Dartmouth, has been sculpting wood since he bought his first chainsaw 15 years ago.

"It was love at first cut," Green says on his website.
