Gronkowski Says He's On 'Same Page' As Patriots, Will Be Ready For Training Camp

BOSTON (CBS) – Though Rob Gronkowski was curiously missing from the field during the Patriots mandatory minicamp earlier this week, the tight end told reporters on Saturday that he is "on the same page" as the team and will be ready for training camp.

Gronkowski was not on the practice field during minicamp, and there was speculation that he may have been missing the sessions because he is unhappy with his contract status.

Reports soon followed that Gronkowksi was not missing due to contract reasons, but was instead nursing a minor injury.

During his youth football camp on Saturday, Gronkowski told reporters that during minicamp he was present at Gillette Stadium.

"I'm doing other things, participating fully with what the coaches have me doing," Gronkowski said. "So we're all good. We're all on the same page."

The Patriots open training camp at the end of July.

When asked if he would be ready for the sessions, Gronkowski said "Oh yeah!"
