Man Trespassing At Kennedy Compound Claimed To Be Homeland Security

HYANNISPORT (CBS) – Cape Cod police officers responded Friday to a man falsely claiming to be Homeland Security while acting suspiciously at the Kennedy Compound.

Officers stopped a 50-year-old man in a gray Ford Focus at the intersection of Scudder and Irving Ave. in Hyannisport.

The man had allegedly been trespassing on private properties in the area of the Kennedy Compound, including a church.

Police said the man had a history of stalking and other charges.

Officers did not arrest the man. He was given a trespass warning, and if he returns to the Kennedy Compound or other places in the area, he could be charged.
