Just before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, officers received a report that a 16-year-old male student from Dorchester was in possession of a weapon at the school in Brighton.

After talking to the student, officers frisked him and recovered a loaded Bryco Arms Jennings J-22 handgun that was in his pants pocket.
