Soldier From Roxbury Dies From Apparent Gunshot Wound At Fort Hood

BOSTON (CBS) – A soldier from Roxbury who was stationed at Fort Hood in Texas has died.

Officials say on Monday 21-year-old Spc. Bernardino Guevara Jr. died from an apparent gunshot wound near the Sportsmen's Center.

Guevara entered active-duty military service in September 2014.

The incident is under investigation. No other information was released.
