Police Rescue Stray Python Found On Merrimack, NH, Driveway

MERRIMACK, N.H. (CBS) -- A ball python is looking for a new home after it was found on a Merrimack, NH, driveway.

Police responded to a call of a large snake trying to cross the road near BAE Systems on the Daniel Webster Highway.

An officer was able to capture the python and bring it to the Animal Rescue League in Bedford. The League says the python is healthy and was likely someone's pet. They are treating it as a stray animal and are looking for someone to adopt it.
