Fall River High School Student Killed In Crash On Way To Prom
FALL RIVER (CBS) – A Durfee High School student was killed in a crash on the way to the school's prom Friday night.
The Bristol County District Attorney's office says 18-year-old Hannah Raposo died, and her 18-year-old male passenger was injured in the crash on Route 24 in Fall River.
State Police say Raposo was driving a Ford Explorer Sport Trac in the area of Exit 4 when she lost control and the vehicle rolled over. Raposo was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The male passenger, who has not been identified, is in stable condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
