Firefighters Rescue Dog From Roof In Connecticut

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (CBS) – You've heard of a cat up a tree, but what about a dog on a roof?

On Friday morning, Middletown, Connecticut firefighters responded to a Hendley Street home for a report of a barking Great Dane trapped on a home overhang, WFSB-TV reports.

Officials believe the dog may have gotten onto the roof by pushing through a window screen.

One of the firefighters was able to get the dog back inside, and everyone was OK.
