Billboards Honor Slain Auburn Officer Ronald Tarentino

BOSTON (CBS) – Electronic billboards raising awareness for the memorial fund set up for Auburn Officer Ronald Tarentino have been placed in 12 locations around the Boston area.

The signs, which were donated by a local company, remind drivers that they can donate to the Officer Ronald Tarentino Jr. Memorial Fund.

Donations are being accepted at any Savers Bank location.

Two signs are on display in Boston with others in Worcester, Westboro, Haverhill, Danvers, Peabody, Lawrence, East Boston, Stoneham and Medford.

Tarentino was shot and killed by Jorge Zambrano during a traffic stop on Sunday.
