Police: Nashua Teacher Sent Nude Photos Of Himself To Student On Grindr

NASHUA, New Hampshire (CBS) -- Police arrested a Nashua High School South teacher Wednesday who they say sent nude pictures of himself to a student over a social media app.

Bruce Lanctot, 40 of Nashua, was charged with two counts of certain uses of computer services prohibited, class B felony, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child,class B felony, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, class A misdemeanor, and one count of indecent exposure and lewdness, class A misdemeanor. He was released on $20,000 bail pending his arraignment.

Nashua Police said they got a report on Monday that Lanctot had sent the photos to a student. During their investigation, they said several juvenile victims told them Lanctot contacted them over the app "Grindr," identifying himself as a teacher at Nashua High School South and engaging in sexually explicit conversation with them.

Police said Lanctot sent the victims several nude photos of himself and asked them to meet with him for sex, and solicited nude photos from at least one of the victims.

After police obtained a warrant for Lanctot, he turned himself in Wednesday. He is currently on paid administrative leave from the Nashua School District.

Nashua Police are asking anyone with further information regarding their investigation into Lanctot to contact them.

Lanctot is expected to be arraigned in Nashua Court on June 15.
