Chelsea Teen To Dance With Justin Bieber At Boston Concert

EVERETT (CBS) - Jazmine Johnson loves to dance. The Phunk Phenomenon Dance Studio in Everett is her second home.

"She lives, eats, sleeps dance," her teacher Reia Connor said. "She loves it."

But this 13-year-old from Chelsea is about to go big time.

"I'm speechless to even talk. It's amazing. It's so exciting," Jazmine said. "I can barely speak about it, oh my God!"

Jazmine will take the stage Tuesday night with Justin Bieber at the Garden, and she admits, that will not be easy.

"I don't know how I'm gonna control myself. I'm probably going to have to focus and say OK, he's standing there and he's a nobody."

It's all part of a contest Justin Bieber is having across the country in every city he goes to. He's selecting four kids to come on stage with him and dance. Jazmine's mom saw the contest and jumped at the chance.

"My mom woke me up and said, 'Get up you have to learn this dance!'" Jazmine said.

So she sent in a tape and they picked it.

"I almost dropped dead, literally!" Jazmine said.

But more than love is hope. She dances with "Hip Hop for Hope" at her studio.

Her teacher's son has Sanfilippo syndrome a disease that causes fatal brain damage and she helps raise awareness through her dance.

But it does more than that, especially for her teacher.

"It keeps me going. It's hard to work when you have a child who is not supposed to make it past 12," Reia Connor said.

A big night, a big stage and a big chance for this little dancer to send a message.
