Woman Struck By Vehicle In Quincy

QUINCY (CBS) -- A woman was hurt after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night in Quincy.

The crash happened around 8:44 p.m. in the area of Falls Boulevard and Quincy Avenue. Quincy police say the driver stayed at the scene.

The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center with unknown injuries. Her current condition was also unknown.

Quincy Avenue was closed for a time while accident reconstruction was underway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
