Kelvin is a sensitive, smart, and outspoken twelve-year-old boy of Caucasian and Hispanic descent. Kelvin likes to please others. When is he not making people laugh, Kelvin likes to spend time outside playing basketball, skating boarding, riding his bike and exploring his neighborhood. While inside, he enjoys relaxing while watching TV/movies, playing video games and with Legos.

Kelvin is currently working below grade level and attends a therapeutic school. He has an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) to help with low frustration tolerance. He enjoys the school and has a close relationship with his therapist. Kelvin would like to be a pilot or a basketball player when he grows up!

Legally freed for adoption, Kelvin would do well in a two parent home, with older children. Kevin will need a family how can provide him with emotional support and love as well as strong supervision.

Since its inception in 1981, Wednesday's Child has been a collaboration of the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE), the Department of Children & Families and WBZ-TV/CBS Boston. Hosted by Jack Williams for the last 34 years, this weekly series has given a face and voice to the children who wait the longest for families. Wednesday's Child has helped find homes for hundreds of waiting children and continues to raise awareness about adoption from foster care.
