Massachusetts Gas Prices Increase For 8th Straight Week

BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts gasoline prices have jumped 4 cents in the past week to an average of $2.12 for a gallon of self-serve regular.

AAA Northeast said Monday that despite the eighth consecutive week of higher prices, gasoline in Massachusetts is still 2 cents per gallon below the national average and 42 cents lower than it was a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $1.99 per gallon and as high as $2.29.
