Ex-Babysitter Charged With Kidnapping Hamilton Girl Ordered To Framingham Jail

SALEM (CBS) -- A former babysitter charged with kidnapping a two-year-old Hamilton girl last November was ordered Monday to be transferred to a women's jail in Framingham.

With her hair covering her face, Abigail Hanna, 21, briefly appeared in Salem Superior Court, where a judge ordered her to be moved MCI Framingham.

Worcester Recovery Center says Hanna didn't belong at their facility because they believe she is competent, but a judge hasn't made that determination yet.

She is slated for a competency hearing at the Salem court on May 18.

Hanna is accused of kidnapping and beating of Lyndon Albers in November 2015. Eight miles away from the girl's home in Rowley, Albers was found sitting naked in leaves, bruised, her head shaved, and with cigarette burns, investigators say.
