2016 NFL Draft: Offensive Line Targets For Patriots At NFL Draft

BOSTON (CBS) --- With the NFL draft a little more than one week away, Adam Jones took a look at several prospects who might fit in with the Patriots. Specifically, Jones focused on players who might be able to help shore up the offensive tackle position and keep Tom Brady on his feet.

Offensive tackle prospects who might still be on the board come New England's turn include Germain Ifedi from Texas A&M, Jason Spriggs from Indiana, Shon Coleman from Auburn, and Le'Raven Clark from Texas Tech.

Bill Belichick has kept his eye on Coleman this offseason, as he made the Auburn product one of the Patriots' official pre-draft visitors this week. Belichick personally attended the Auburn Pro Day in March. The 6'5, 307-pound lineman battled beat acute lymphoblastic leukemia while at Auburn and managed to finish his career as a second-team All-SEC selection.

Rich Keefe, however, believes that Spriggs from Indiana would be the best fit in the late second round.

"He's the most athletic. He's also the strongest of the group," said Keefe. "I think he'd be a tremendous pick with one of those second-rounders."

Spriggs is 6-foot-6, and has drawn many comparisons to Patriots tackle Nate Solder.

Jones thinks that Texas Tech's Clark would be another good addition, due to his size and his familiarity with a creative offensive system.
