Four WBZ Runners Finish Boston Marathon

BOSTON (CBS) -- Four members of the WBZ team ran in the 120th Boston Marathon.

WBZ-TV reporter Nicole Jacobs, editor Phil Vaughn, Centro host Yadires Nova-Salcedo, and Mix 104.1's Erin O'Malley made the 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston.

Phil Vaughn is a marathon veteran and has run the race five times for WBZ. He ran the race in 04:26:24.

This was Nicole Jacobs' fourth Boston Marathon. This year she ran for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She finished with a time of 04:55:20.

Yadires Nova-Salcedo ran her first ever marathon to raise money for the Arredondo Family Foundation.

DJ Erin O'Malley ran for Boston Children's Hospital. She finished in 04:51:57.
