Man Allegedly Tried To 'Tickle' Kids At Kingston Indoor Play Area

KINGSTON (CBS) – A man was arrested after parents say he tried to inappropriately touch two little girls at an indoor play area in Kingston on Sunday afternoon.

Police say 37-year-old Justin Kettell was chasing two girls inside Billy Beez, an indoor play area for children aged three to 12 years old in the Kingston Collection mall.

When parents discovered what was happening, they say Kettell ran off, but not before a parent took cell phone pictures of him.

"My daughter and her girlfriend were at Busy [sic] Beez and they, um, some man was chasing them and grabbing them and tickling them in the play house," a mother told the 911 dispatcher. "And, I confronted him and he was intoxicated."

He was arrested a short time later.

While on the phone with the dispatcher, the mother said the girls were not injured, just frightened.

Kettell, from Sagamore Beach, was arraigned Monday on one count each of Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child Under the Age of 14 and Assault and Battery.

He pleaded not guilty and was held on $20,000 cash bail with the conditions that he stays away from the mall, has no contact with children under the age of 16 and wears a GPS monitoring bracelet.
