The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, standing about 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall, with short black hair and wearing a dark shirt.

Students received a message from police about the incident on Saturday. On Sunday, a pair of students told WBZ-TV's Katie Brace they're shocked at the news.

Officials are urging residents to keep their homes locked at all times while sleeping and while away.

As of early Sunday evening, no arrests had been made and police continue to investigate the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tufts University Police at (617) 627-3030.
