Celtics Guard Avery Bradley Questionable Versus Suns With Illness
BOSTON (CBS) – The Celtics open a key 5-game west coast road trip on Saturday night. But they may be without one of their key players.
Guard Avery Bradley is battling an illness, the team said on Saturday.
Bradley did not travel with the team to Phoenix. Bradley had been in the hospital getting fluids, then flew to Arizona to join his teammates on Saturday.
The Celtics and Suns tip off Saturday night's game at 10 p.m.
The Celtics, who have won three straight games, travel to face Phoenix, the Clippers, Portland, Golden State and the Lakers before returning home on April 6.
Bradley is averaging 15.1 points per game this season.
