Weston Police Seek Woman Wanted In Nationwide String Of Car Break-Ins

WESTON (CBS) – Police in Weston are asking the public for help as they try to identify a woman suspected of breaking into cars.

Weston detectives say she is "associated with a nationwide group of car break-in thieves." The group is based out of Florida and known as the "Felony Lane Gang," according to police.

Following multiple car break-ins in Weston back in January, officials say she cashed checks from one of the victims totaling more than $6,500.

Anyone who recognizes her is asked to call Weston police.

Authorities are reminding people to make sure to lock their car doors and don't leave any valuables inside.
