Baker: Let GOP Nominating Process 'Play Out'
BOSTON (AP) — Republican Gov. Charlie Baker says when it comes to the presidential race, people "should let the process play out."
Baker on Wednesday reiterated his position that he would not support Donald Trump if the Republican front-runner emerges as the party's nominee.
Baker, who has questioned Trump's temperament, noted there are still many primaries left.
Baker is the only GOP governor to publicly state he would not vote for Trump, who added to his delegate lead Tuesday with primary wins in Florida, North Carolina and Illinois.
The Massachusetts governor stopped short of endorsing John Kasich, who won the primary in his home state of Ohio. But Baker did say that he has concerns about Ted Cruz's ability to work with others. Cruz is the only other remaining Republican candidate.
