Peyton Manning: Patriots Fans Should Miss Me

BOSTON (CBS) -- In an emotional press conference on Monday afternoon, future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning announced his retirement from football.

He spoke at length about the things he'll miss the most, from game-planning against opponents to going over what happened with his father.

But he also made a point to tell other people that they should miss him.

"I'll even miss the Patriots fans in Foxborough, and they should miss me," Manning said, before adding: "Because they sure did get a lot of wins off of me."

It's probably a lot easier for Manning to be self-deprecating on his 6-13 record against the Patriots and 2-11 record in Foxborough, considering he came out on top of this year's AFC Championship Game against New England and went on to win the Super Bowl.
