Massachusetts State Police K-9 Helps Find Missing Boy With Autism
NORTH BROOKFIELD (CBS) – Authorities are crediting a Massachusetts State Police K-9 with helping to find a missing boy with autism.
Police say the 14-year-old disappeared just after 10 p.m. on Monday night, triggering a search by officers on the ground and in the air.
Trooper Scott Davis and his K-9 partner Cairo were among those looking for the boy.
Davis and Cairo found the boy sleeping on a park bench at about 10:55 p.m., not far from where he had last been seen.
The boy was returned home safely, police said.
