Worcester Police Officer Walks 95-Year-Old Voter Home From Polls

WORCESTER (CBS) -- A super act of kindness by a Worcester police officer on Super Tuesday was caught on camera.

The Worcester Police Department tweeted a photo Tuesday afternoon sent to them by a local resident. They said it shows an officer walking a 95-year-old woman home from the polls earlier in the morning.

About 1.5 million to 2 million people were expected to vote in Massachusetts on Tuesday, the highest primary turnout for the state since 2008.
