Hoverboard Sparks Fire In Chelmsford Home
CHELMSFORD (CBS) – Firefighters say a hoverboard sparked a fire in a Chelmsford home Monday night.
Investigators say an 11-year-old boy was riding the hoverboard when it suddenly caught fire.
The boy was not hurt.
Photos from the Chelmsford Fire Department show a charred hoverboard with a missing wheel and large burn mark on the floor of the living room.

The Consumer Products Safety Commission is investigating more than 40 hoverboard related fires caused by batteries that overheat and combust.
