DeAngelo Williams Isn't A Fan Of Bill Belichick Or The New England Patriots

By Johnny Carey, CBS Boston

BOSTON (CBS) -- It appears that DeAngelo Williams won't be joining the Patriots any time soon.

Not that it was a real possibility, considering the soon-to-be-33-year-old has another year left on his contract with the Steelers. But still, the running back took to Twitter on Monday night to let the Internet know of his distaste for New England.

Specifically, he voiced a not-so-nice opinion of Bill Belichick.

After a Patriots fan tweeted at Williams to let him know he'd be welcome in New England, this is what the ex-Steeler and ex-Panther had to say:

Big, if true.

While Belichick doesn't publicly come off as buddy-buddy with his players very often, there hasn't been any indication over the years  that his players hate him.

His little Twitter feud with Patriots fans didn't stop there.

This actually wasn't the first time Williams decided to let everyone on social media know his feelings for the Patriots. Last offseason, Williams posted a screen shot of the 2006 NFL Draft on his Instagram, highlighting the fact that he was drafted six spots behind Laurence Maroney. Apparently, he's still bitter about it.

The Patriots will pay a visit to Williams and the Steelers next year. We now know the running back will be motivated.
