Goucher: No Easy Nights For Bruins Rest Of The Way

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Boston Bruins overcame a two-goal deficit Thursday night in Buffalo, besting the Sabres 3-2 in a shootout to snap a two-game slide.

It wasn't pretty and it certainly wasn't easy, but there were some positives to take out of the win, from Brad Marchand's unreal game-tying goal to Boston's continued success away from TD Garden. 98.5 The Sports Hub's Bruins play-by-play man Dave Goucher joined Toucher & Rich on Friday, and said like Thursday night, nothing is going to be easy for the Bruins the rest of the way.

"It doesn't really matter who they play these days, every game is tight and every night is a grind," said Goucher. "I don't know if that's going to change much between now and mid-April if they're fortunate enough to get into the playoffs. They don't really have any easy games, and you can make the argument that a lot of teams are in that boat."

After finishing a home-and-home with the Sabres on Saturday and welcoming the L.A. Kings to Boston on Wednesday, the B's hit the road for a six-game swing. Goucher said that might be a good thing for a team trying to separate themselves from a crowded playoff pack.

"For them, they've shown the ability to maintain their focus and the ability of what they need to do to win a lot more on the road than at home this year," said Goucher. "It's not an easy [trip], but they get things done a lot more on the road this year."

Goucher also discusses if teams no longer fear playing the Bruins, and a potential return for defenseman Adam McQuaid:
