Arlington Catholic Principal Placed On Leave After Incident With Student

ARLINGTON (CBS) -- The Archdiocese of Boston confirmed the principal of Arlington Catholic High School has been placed on administrative leave following an incident with a student.

In a letter to parents Wednesday, Vice Principal Linda Butt said the school is investigating complaints related to an incident that may have happened between the principal and a student during a Sunday detention.

"We have no reason to believe at this time it involves allegations of sexual abuse," said Butt in the letter.

The school said they would update the community once the investigation was finished.
