Construction Underway For 'Big Air' At Fenway Park
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Red Sox are still months away from taking the field, but there's a lot happening inside Fenway Park this winter.
Construction is underway for the "Big Air" event at the ballpark on Feb. 11 and 12. Workers spent Tuesday setting up a 140-foot-high snow ramp that will stretch from the bleachers to home plate.
The competition is expected to attract some of the best winter freestyle athletes in the country.
"Big Air Snowboarding" will become an Olympic event in 2018.
