Patriots-Chiefs Injury Report: Maclin, Hali & Houston Questionable For Kansas City

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Kansas City Chiefs have released their injury report for Saturday's AFC Divisional Round game against the New England Patriots, and could be without a trio of key contributors.

Linebackers Tamba Hali (knee/thumb) and Justin Houston (knee) and receiver Jeremy Maclin (ankle) highlight the five Chiefs listed as questionable for Saturday's game. Houston and Maclin both missed Friday's practice while Hali was limited. Maclin missed all three practices this week, while Houston sat out his first on Friday. Hali missed Wednesday and Thursday's session before returning on Friday.

Maclin's absence would be a huge loss for quarterback Alex Smith and the Chiefs' offense, as he led the team with 87 receptions, 1088 yards and eight touchdowns during the regular season. He had three receptions for 27 yards in KC's 30-0 win over the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card Round before getting injured.

Both Hali and Houston play pivotal roles on the Chiefs defense, with Houston leading the team with 7.5 sacks in the regular season.

Also listed as questionable against New England are running back Spencer Ware (ankle) and receiver Albert Wilson (hamstring).

Offensive linemen Jeff Allen (thumb), Zach Fulton (ankle) and Jah Reid (knee), linebacker Josh Mauga (ankle) and tight end Travis Kelce (groin) are all listed as probable, while offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (concussion) and center Mich Morse (concussion) have both been ruled out for the game.

The Patriots' injury report is expected to be released later in the afternoon.
