West Boylston Teacher Accused Of Sending Inappropriate Messages To Student

WEST BOYLSTON (CBS) – A West Boylston teacher has been accused of sending inappropriate messages to a student.

He has been placed on administrative leave and ordered to have no contact with any students.

In a statement to families and staff, the school said they are cooperating with police and the Worcester County District Attorney's office.

"At the present time this is an active police investigation," the statement said. "The teacher has been removed from the school and will have no further contact with any students."

The male student at West Boylston Middle-High School reported it to the school on Wednesday.

Police have interviewed both the student and the teacher. Police say they will ask for a warrant to search the teacher's home on Friday morning.
