Boston Police Save 4-Year-Old With CPR

BOSTON (CBS) -- Boston Police said Monday that they saved a four-year-old's life during a call over the weekend.

According to the bpdnews blog, around 8 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a call of a child in distress on Adams Street in Dorchester. When they arrived, the child's mother said her daughter was suffering from seizures, and officers found the child unresponsive and not breathing.

Officers got the child breathing again using CPR. In addition, Boston Fire responded and provided oxygen to the child.

The four-year-old was taken to Boston Children's Hospital, where she was reportedly responsive.
