Daily Talker: Returning Unwanted Gifts

Did you get what you wanted this Christmas? Chances are there's at least one gift you don't want to keep. And you're not alone.                                             Consumer Reports estimate 40% of Americans try to return or exchange a gift they don't like.

So, let the return rush begin! But before you go to the store, check that store's return or exchange policy. The best advice to make sure you can return a gift?  Make sure you have a receipt and keep the gifts in their original packaging. And be prepared for possible restocking fees and store credit only.

According to the National Retail Federation, as much as 15% of holiday sales, which could reach $630.5 billion this year, could be returned.

Do you plan on returning or exchanging gifts this year? Would you just prefer to get gift cards or cash for Christmas?
