Weymouth Girl Donates Birthday Presents To Charity
WEYMOUTH (CBS) – Police in Weymouth are praising a young girl who donated her birthday presents to a holiday toy drive.
Weymouth Police said in a Facebook post that a 9-year-old named Sivana, a third grade student at Wessagussett School, brought several toys into the station.
Sivana had received the gifts for her birthday, but decided she wanted to put them in the Weymouth Police Department's Toys For Tots donation bin.
"What a wonderful gesture," police wrote. "Happy birthday Sivana and Merry Christmas from all of us at the Weymouth Police!"
