Reports: Danny Amendola Expected To Play For Patriots Against Eagles
FOXBORO (CBS) -- New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola will likely be back in action Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston say Amendola is expected to play after missing last Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos because of a knee sprain.
Amendola's return would be good news for quarterback Tom Brady, who will be without injured targets Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman on Sunday.
