Cape Cod College Classes Canceled Due To Bomb Threat

BARNSTABLE, Mass. (AP) — Classes at Cape Cod Community College have been canceled due to a bomb threat.

College communications director Michael Gross says college security officers received the threat Sunday. Officials have decided to close the West Barnstable campus tentatively until noon Monday.

Gross says the college's Hyannis Center will remain open.

State police spokesman David Procopio says the bomb squad, dog units and other authorities will begin searching the campus at sunrise.
