NightSide - Missouri, Yale, And The Climate On College Campuses

BOSTON (CBS) - Tensions are high on a handful of college campuses this week, with protesters, professors, and media members clashing over a number of issues. At the University of Missouri, Communications Professor Melissa Click is taking some heat for a video that shows her calling for "muscle" to remove reporters and photographers from the public space the students were using for their protest. Also, a campus-wide email sent today encourages students to call the police if they hear hateful or offensive speech so that the University can take disciplinary action. Meanwhile, on the Yale campus, Professor Nicholas Christakis was caught on video trying to explain the concept of free speech to protesting students, only to be shouted down by the masses. Are we entering an age run by the thought police? Have we lost touch with the importance of the First Amendment? Tune in to hear the audio.
