Accomplice In 1997 Murder Of NH Police Officer Caught In Boston
BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts State Police have arrested a New Hampshire man who violated his parole after serving time in prison for being an accomplice in a police officer's killing.
Troopers arrested 36-year-old Kevin Paul in Boston Monday. He's wanted in New Hampshire on firearms, armed career criminal and parole violation charges. Paul was granted parole earlier this year after serving time for his role as an accomplice in the 1997 murder of Officer Jeremy Charron in Epsom, New Hampshire.
State police set up surveillance after they learned Paul and a woman were staying at a Boston hotel. He was taken into custody when he went to run an errand. Authorities believe he's involved in a New Hampshire burglary ring.
Paul will be arraigned on fugitive charges Tuesday. It wasn't known if he has a lawyer.
