Keller @ Large: Elections Show Anti-Incumbent Mood

BOSTON (CBS) -- Last week's election results mean some fresh faces will be taking office in Massachusetts soon.

A 23-year-old is set to be the next mayor of Fall River. Two teenagers won their races in Quincy and Brockton. And in Boston, Andrea Campbell and Annissa Essaibi George ousted politicians with decades of combined service on the City Council.

"They really worked the doors," Politico's Lauren Dezenski said of Campbell and Essaibi  George on Sunday's Keller @ Large. "They did the retail politicking that I don't think you necessarily see in these long-standing incumbents."

WBZ NewsRadio 1030 morning anchor Joe Mathieu said an anti-establishment, anti-incumbent sort of mood was in the air on election night.

"This may have had as much to do with what the incumbents didn't do as what the incoming candidates did do," Mathieu said.

The trio also discussed what's happening in the New Hampshire primary for both Republicans and Democrats.
