MBTA Seats Aren't For Rabbits, Transit Police Reminds Riders

BOSTON (CBS) – Seats are for people, not rabbits. That's what the MBTA is reminding commuters this weekend.

MBTA Transit Police tweeted a photo Saturday morning of a rabbit sitting on a seat on the T next to human travel partner.

The animal's carrier was placed underneath the seat.

"Etiquette: Please keep your rabbits inside their carrier while traveling on the T. Thank you," the Transit Police tweet read.
