Duxbury Firefighters Save Choking Dog

DUXBURY (CBS) -- Firefighters may be best known for putting out fires, but they came to the rescue of a choking dog in Duxbury on Saturday afternoon.

Fire officials say two dogs were playing when one dog's mouth got stuck under the other's collar and started choking the other dog.

The owner panicked and called the fire department, and firefighters used bolt cutters to free the dog.

The dogs, Charlie and Theo, were the "happiest customers of the day" after becoming untangled, according to the Duxbury Fire Department's Public Information Officer's Twitter account.
